A guided check, start to finish

From your Mac to your account.

  1. 1 · Install

Install on the Mac you’re testing.

Download it on the Mac being tested, or copy the unchanged DMG to a USB drive. Intel (x86_64) and Apple silicon builds are listed when published.

  2. 2 · Pair

    Pair the Mac being tested.

Create a one-time code in Seller (that seller device), Receiving (this PO holding), or Bench (the no-PO Mac). Enter the code in Mac Check on this Mac — not on a different computer.

  3. 3 · Check

    Work through the checks.

Test display colors and hotspots, camera, microphone, speakers, keyboard, trackpad, ports, system state, and cosmetic condition.

  4. 4 · Review

Review results, then save or print.

Failures and unknowns are shown before you confirm. A completed run is not automatically clear for resale. Receiving and Bench can print a Mac label from the confirmed report.
